Kody Sanderfer, AGNP

Kody Sanderfer, AGNP, enjoys caring for adults and the aging adult and feels his greatest accomplishment as a provider comes from building relationships with his patients and helping them achieve their health goals. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve a healthy lifestyle that is grounded in preventive care that is focused on all aspects of health (physical, emotional, mental).

Kody is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners specializing in Adult and Gerontology Primary Care after earning his Master of Science degree in 2014 from Union University in Jackson, TN. His passion for cardiovascular health led him to obtain an additional certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner. After graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Lamar University in 2007 in Beaumont, TX, he worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the cardiovascular intensivecare unit and electrophysiology lab.

Kody enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with his family in his spare time. He is married to his wife of 24 years, and they have two daughters and a son. Prior to relocating to Colorado from West Tennessee, he and his family spent time in Senegal, West Africa, while working in community health focused on hypertension and diabetes care and management.
