Terri Markham, NP-C
I graduated from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2007, with a Master of Science in Nursing. I obtained my undergrad in nursing in Magnolia, Arkansas at Southern Arkansas University. Prior to becoming a RN, I worked as an LVN and an EMT. I have been a nurse practitioner for 16 years but have been a nurse since my early 20’s and was an ICU charge nurse. I have worked in the hospital, urgent care, family practice, and OB/gyn settings, and my goal is to work with my patients to optimize their health, including the physical, emotional, and mental aspects. I am grateful to provide care and support my patients and their families.
I have worked in many different settings and have traveled as a locum provider for a good portion of my career. I have a special interest in gastroenterology, women’s health, diabetes and hypertension management, as well as some pulmonology and cardiology issues. My passion is preventive care, focusing on optimization of the mind and body in concordance.
When I’m not busy, I love spending time with my two daughters and all of their dog family members. We love to garden, hike, kayak, snow ski, and participate in most outdoor activities. Ialso love going to rock concerts, even at my age.
